Hello! Here’s a new video on JCo Audio about installing a guitar killswitch, both in push-off and push-on configurations. It was quite nerve wracking drilling a hole in my guitar, but the results paid off with a nicely functional and finished-looking customized guitar.
It was a lot of fun to build, and has been fun to play. Ironically, N.O. (normally open) buttons normally turn something on when pressed, but since here it’s pulling the output to ground, it instead effectively turns the audio off. N.C. (normally closed) buttons do the opposite. It’s slightly confusing, but not too bad!
