Some time ago I made a box drum out of MDF on my laser cutter. Since then, I’ve come up with a number of enhancements, including:
- Adjustable snare
- Clear face
- Touch-sensitive lighting
- Audio playback via Raspberry Pi Pico/RP20-Footie
This one has been in the works for quite some time, and took several forms on the way to what it is today. Anyway, hope you enjoy this latest JCo Audio video:
How this was all built is a bit flung together at this point, but the (unverified) laser cutter files are available here, and I’ll try to post the snare detent model on Printables in the near future!
