A PCB Mini-Museum on the Wall

For the past year or so I’ve been working on designing printed circuit boards. They take a variety of forms, sizes, and colors, and whether I end up using them or not, they can be quite beautiful. Rather than let them continue to languish in a drawer or workbench somewhere, I constructed a light-up display case for selected PCBs.

The frame is made out of MDF, harboard, and acrylic, and the lighting is provided by a strip of ESP8266-controlled WS2812B LEDs via WLED firmware. The CAD file is found here, and you can see the whole story in the video below. Enjoy!
