YouTube Quick Hits [Pt 1]

If you need a good distraction, here are a bunch of clips from my YouTube channel that will only take you “mere seconds”—or up to 2:14 in one case—to watch. Have fun, and happy Friday!

A ball being tracked by a Pixy2. Pretty cool!

I’m pretty proud of how this time-lapse came out. No real context, but it’s this kit [Amazon] if you want to build your own tiger.

Closeup of small 28BYJ-48 [Amazon] stepper motor. I think I took this with my Canon T2i DSLR and a macro lens.

Another macro experiment, this time comparing my GoPro Hero 5 camera with a PolarPro macro adapter on it to “raw” footage. Results are quite compelling.

My first walking robot named “PegLeg” Actually my first upload to YouTube as well!

Now many years later, here’s my Clear Crawler, which has been featured in Hackspace Magazine and elsewhere!

Demo of my “Hello Light.” Here’s the build video if you want to know more.

I plan to do a series of posts like this outlining some of my shorter YouTube videos that you might not otherwise see (two here were even unlisted). You can of course browse my channel right now, or sign up for emails via the “subscribe” thing below to get informed when I post new articles, including more in this “short” series!
